On 24 November 2011, the Association of the Councils of State and Supreme Administrative Jurisdictions of the European Union (ACA-Europe) held one of its two annual Board meetings. ACA-Europe Secretary-General Yves Kreins provided a review of the organisation's activities, focusing in particular on the projects relating to the databases managed by ACA-Europe, judges' working visits, and cooperation with the EU authorities. The double edition of the newsletter (issues 25-26) devoted to the activities of the seminar held in Dubrovnik on 26 May 2011 about the reform of the Croatian judicial system was also presented. Other seminars and meetings were mentioned, such as the meeting of the Database Support Committee in Warsaw on 29 September 2011, which analysed the various projects relating to ACA-Europe's information network, the seminar entitled 'The European Case Law Identifier (ECLI) and meta-data: harmonisation of case law identification in the European Union' for the research and documentation departments that took place in Warsaw on 30 September 2011 and the seminar in The Hague on 24 November 2011, which coincided with the Board meeting and which had as its theme the Charter of Fundamental Rights of the European Union. ACA-Europe's activities in 2012 were also mentioned: the biennial colloquium of ACA-Europe which will be held in Madrid in June 2012 and three seminars that may be organised. The programme of judges' visits for 2012 and ACA-Europe's budget for that year were also discussed. The Board also came back to the creation of the European Law Institute (ELI) whose beginnings lie in the Stockholm Programme, before rounding off with the renewal of the Board.
