Madrid, 26 June 2012: Meeting with HRH The Prince of Asturias

On 26 June 2012, the Board of the Association of the Councils of State and Supreme Administrative Jurisdictions of the European Union (ACA-Europe) met HRH The Prince of Asturias, who then presided over the gala dinner given by Mr Juan Antonio Xiol, President of the Spanish Supreme Court

During the dinner, the prince gave a speech addressed to the delegations from ACA-Europe's member courts, in which he emphasised the importance he attaches to the role that the association is called to play in the implementation of the Charter of Fundamental Rights of the European Union in the case law that will be developed by the Supreme Administrative Courts. The prince's speech was preceded by a speech by the President of the Supreme Court of Spain.
